Buying bottles comes with the option for storage with the World Whisky Storage foundation (WWS). Whiskies stored with the WWS are insured for 100% of their market value* .
If you wish to put any bottles up for sale, they automatically get stored with the WWS (see Selling). Storage fees are calculated and charged quarterly and amount to a percentage of the (insured) market value* .
* Market value only compensated when an actual market value has been set. Market value is the price last paid for a particular type of bottle.
